Many of us surf-obsessed-types will travel far and well, even further, to seek out a particular wave. Or poor over maps, or google-earth to determine where there should be a particular break.. Often the shoreline is the goal, and the shore itself a beautiful frame to a peak, a place to rest, forage or let loose.
It goes without saying that there’s an awful lot that goes on on land, and driving around with your neck craned to focus on the shoreline you can actually miss out on all manner of other sites, arguably as breathtaking as that perfect A-frame you’re headed to.
