We already know that the controvertial stop at Margaret River, West Australia will take place on the ASP World Tour in 2014. Now the ASP is confirming the possibility of a new stop in Bali, Indonesia!
The Island of the Gods has played host to the World Tour before, with the Rip Curl Search in 2008; an event that brought the best surfers in the world to Padang-Padang and Uluwatu.
The new stop would be “mobile” and held in Keramas, Canggu or Padang-padang. Oakley, who already holds the World Pro Junior on the Island would be the main sponsor of the event.
At this point it has not been confirmed yet but we are crossing our fingers. Imagine watching our local heroes such as Lee Wilson, Pepen Hendrik, and Oney Anwar in some WT heats! Stay tuned to IndoSurfLife.com for more news on this.
