Alana Blanchard is a featured athlete in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Picked to appear under the ‘athletes’ section, the Kauai local appears alongside Australian hurdler Michelle Jenneke, Dutch hockey stars Ellen Hoog and Eva de Goede.
The last surfer we saw in the Swimsuit Edition was Brazilian Bruna Schmitz in 2011, and for this year’s edition, Alana was photographed by James Macari in Las Vegas, Nevada, with swimsuits by Rip Curl.
