The body of male foreigner was discovered by tourists at Nusa Dua Beach on Wednesday morning and identified as Bekpolat Baykabulov from Uzbekistan, who was a guest at the Nusa Dua Grand Hyatt Hotel, Coconuts Bali reported.
The body washed up in front of the lifeguard’s (Balawista) post and according to Tribun Bali the 37-year-old had been in Bali for business. The body was found by tourist who want to enjoy sunrise on the beach.
After coming back from dinner with his colleagues in Seminyak, the man told his friend he wanted to go for a swim in the ocean, but no one wanted to join him, Denpasar Police Ketut Suparta told Tribun Bali.
His colleagues feels strange because the man did not appear to follow the event in the next day, until they got news from the police that Bekpolat Baykabulov died in the afternoon.
Police said the man died from drowing.
