The 130 m2 store offers a selective assortment of men’s and women’s product categories ranging from Apparel, Boardshorts, Swimwear, Denim, Accessories, Footwear and Bali Inspired products
This is the first concept store outside of the USA that showcases the new elements of the newly launched Volcom retail concept. These elements include a LED monitor cash wrap display, TV mannequins, a T-shirt wall concept, a chill zone, a series of memorabilia to tell Volcom’s brand DNA/heritage story, and various forms of timeless POPs. One element that stands out as you enter the store is the 10 m2 ceiling mural by local artist Ikhsan Wahyudi (IG: @dmx_ix). His artwork is inspired by a combination of traditional Kemasan Balinese art and geometric mandalas, which he beautifully incorporated elements of skate and surf to give off a complete branding experience.
Volcom was built on story telling. From its original film “Alive We Ride”, the goal was to tell creative stories about our ambassadors and the lives that they live. This goal is transcended in Volcom’s new retail concept as well. Our mission is have each customer leave the experience recognizing that Volcom is an innovative brand, with interesting stories to tell, appreciates local art and adapts to it. The True To This movement is not about only creating great product, but it’s about enhancing the ability to live it.
The store Grand Opening event on December 16th 2016 was hosted by Volcom Indonesia’s Brand Ambassadors and athletes, namely: Tius Firman, Anneke Fitrianti, Muklis Anwar, Giada Legati, Puanani Johnson, Sanggoe Dharma, Mario Palandeng, and Indra Kubon. Hard Rock FM Bali run the live Drive and Jive program at the opening. Throughout the day customers have a chance to win great prizes like GoPro’s, Ipads, Ipods, JBL BT speakers and loads of Volcom merchandise! The Lucky Dip promo is valid throughout December 2016.
