Misttreta, who lists his home address as Manassas Park, Virginia, USA,  was arrested with a rifle magazine filled with live rounds of ammunition as he was preparing to check-in for an international flight.

Metrobali.com said the magazine contained 12 rounds of 50-caliber ammunition. Misttreta did not have the permits and licenses in his possession required for a private citizen to carry firearms or ammunition in Indonesia.

The magazine and bullets were discovered during an x-ray inspection of the American’s luggage.

Police continue to hold the American and his luggage while they investigate the case.
