Two Danish tourists, Jansen Marcus Moller (21) and Andreas Winther Nielsen, were killed in the early hours of Sunday, July 2, 2017, in a traffic accident at the intersection of Tiyung Tutul in Pererenan, as quoted from Bali Discovery.
At approximately 1:30 am, the two men were riding a single motorcycle traveling from Jalan Raya Tumbakbayuh, coming from the direction of Tanah Lot.
Andreas Nielsen was reportedly driving the motorcycle with Jansen as a pillion passenger. When the two men passed through the intersection they collided with a box truck driven by Okneil Harapana Findia Ardi (28) who was traveling from the east.
Both of the Danes died at the scene of the accident.
Police say the accident on the motorcyclists occured when the Dane failed to grant the right-of-way to the truck.
