Slabs for days.
Here I was again in Padang, getting ready to start my 11 th season on the Aileoita 1, frothing to try my new camera and go search for some new spots. My guests were returning guest, so they know what there were looking for, no crowds.
Waves were only 2-3ft with perfect ramps. Betet Merta, Tipi Jabrik, Nyoman Blacky, Bleronk, Kin Goldman, Nathan and Saxon were having so much fun at “Canggu Rights”. Check all the photos here!
You might have seen that IndoSurfLife.com had a few spots in a recent trip to Mentawai on board of Moon Palikir.
We had 11 days of real good surf and no crowds. We even scored the rare “The Hole” mostly by ourselves. Check the photos here and book your trip with us.
Would you risk some skin to get those barrels? This 2 lucky guys had it to themselves for a week in a row.

Vibes were high at the opening party of the Coolangatta Boardriders store – it was the combination of Quiksilver and Roxy team riders stoking out hundreds of grommets and surf fans at a signing, LeeAnn Curren’s band Betty the Shark and Brisbane band Orphan Orphans channelling the perfect mix of Jim Morrison and Ian Curtis, and the anticipation of the Pro kicking off.
Wet season is good season, brown water and nice barrels at some beach breaks around the Island. That is our favourite.
The best photos of today’s surf report, with some extra photos. Although bit smaller waves are still fun in most of the spots. The entire selection you can see here. Where is your favourite spot? Enjoy!
