The World Surf League (WSL) has announced a deal to show all of its events on Facebook Live this year.
After a year-long absence from competition, Owen Wright has just confirmed that he will accept the injury wildcard for the 2017 World Surf League Championship Tour. This comes after a long road to recovery from the serious head injury he suffered at Pipeline on Oahu’s North Shore in December of 2015.
He wants Another World Title in 2017
The Korean technology giant, has discontinued their sponsorship of the World Surf League. For the past few years Samsung had footed much of the bill for the WSL’s Championship tour events (11 men’s and 10 women’s.)
