Five-times World Surfing Champion Stephanie Gilmore will be inducted as the 35th member of the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame in Sydney next Wednesday, 20th February.
The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) are in the process of finalising plans for the surfing world’s gala awards night – the 2103 ASP World Surfing Awards – to be held at the QT hotel, Surfers Paradise, QLD on Feb 28.

Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS), 21, current ASP Women’s World No. 2 has been crowned Australian Bachelorette of the Year by pop culture website Pedestrian.tv.
Shane Dorian is the “Waterman of the Year” by the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA), in 2012. The big wave surfer turned up in the surf media map in the late 80s and has since won a Hawaiian state title and pushed the paddle-in limits on the North Shore’s outer reefs.
