There are several well-known and rarely explored beaches to discover here, far removed from the chaos of the main tourist areas.
The 3rd annual Hurley Bingin Open 2016, organized and run by the Bingin Boardriders was just completed with over 200 international and local athletes competing in 6 division: Under 14, Under 16, Women’s, Master’s, Pro Junior and Open. The event had a one-week waiting period but needed only 3 day to run.
Yesterday we posted an gallery with Bingin photos telling that it was the best call for this mid range swells. Yesterday the boys gave us a call and we headed back again.

Last month local surfer in Bingin held an open surf contest and family gathering. With perfect 3-4ft glassy barrels rolled through as all of the boardriders cheered for their favourite surfers and heroes.
Bingin, September 22. A weekend of epic waves at the Bingin Open & family gathering 2015 presented by hurley culminated with the champions crowned in perfect four-foot Bukit Peninsula tubes. Agus Dag Sumertayasa claimed the open division, Nyoman Pill Suartika won the masters, Mega Artana took out the pro juniors, Ketut Agus the juniors and Cinta Hansel the pro junior girls, with winners of both the pro junior and pro divisions earning a free trip to the Mentawais thanks to one of our sponsors, Seabourn Surf Charter.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday (11th and 12th Aug.) a medium size swell brought good waves to Bali. A fun practice session for the Quiksilver Uluwatu Challenge that started today (Aug. 13th) and for the Rip Curl Padang Cup, whose waiting period is ON.
