Salini came to Canggu with Puanani they saw the waves and quickly paddled out. The Padma boys were out and they gave all the support to the Surfer Girls cheering them on and giving them some good waves.
The only worry I had was to choose the best equipment, for what the waves would offer that day, the right fins and board. It was 10 days in paradise.
Boys from 5 different surf clubs from the area, Berawa Boardriders, Canggu Surf Community, Pererenan Surfing Club, Kedungu and Tanah Lot, enjoyed perfect 3-4ft waves, no wind and perfect swell direction for Canggu.

Canggu and Pererenan are neighboring waves, divided by a few hundred meters and a river. Both waves are highly sought after by those who want high performance surfing.

An ongoing beach conservation project along Pererenan beach in Badung has stirred controversy among surfing enthusiasts. They fear that the man-made construction will ruin one of the island’s favorite surfing points.
The project involves the construction of a revetment, or retaining wall, a permeable, sloping structure made of natural stones and concrete, designed to hold the beach’s sandy shoreline in place and prevent further erosion.
