It’s been a terrible wet season. Not much surf due to the lack of swell and the strong winds of many tropical cyclones. Then again, we are spoilled so what we consider a bad season could be a dream for others.

Last week we saw a nice Southerly swell coming with a mid range period and not much wind. Hungry for some waves we headed to Sumbawa to try to get some surf at Lakey Peak.

Earlier today, the swell delivered some good waves with some 3-5 ft sets rolling in around the island. Who knows what the rest of the day will bring. Not to mention this weekend (check the forecast). Here’s some pictures taken today in Bali.
