The island’s first toll road, now officially called Bali Mandara toll road, has at last been opened to the public with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono signing a commemorative plaque to mark its official opening on a hot Monday afternoon.
Last Sunday, Grommets battled for top place honours at the 2nd series of the Rip Curl GromSearch 2013 on the beautiful white sand’s of Pandawa beach. 3 to 4 foot waves were served up, offering the Groms perfect sized conditions to show-off their skills during the entire day.
This coming Sunday 24 February, Grommets will be gathering around the Bukit area to run the 2nd round of Rip Curl’s prestigious GromSearch series. The Event will take place in Pandawa Beach – Bukit, Bali, where Grommets will have to check-in at 07.00 am.
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Bali next year will occupy various facilities within the Nusa Dua tourism enclave managed by BTDC (Bali Tourism Development Corporation), thus regular tourists have been advised to stay outside the area.
