2015 ASC Men’s Champion Raditya Rondi from Kuta, Bali took down current rankings leader Dede Suryana (West Java) in the final of the Rote Open 2016 today to claim his 3rd ASC win of the year and move up to 3rd in the rankings behind Philmar Alipayo (Philippines) who is in 2nd, and Suryana who remains in first place with his runner up finish.
In an exciting conclusion to the 2015 Rote Open International Surfing competition today, Raditya Rondi (Bali) took the Men’s Open win and the 2015 ASC Open Championship, and Rina Kitazawa (Japan) won the Women’s Division to cement her ASC Women’s Championship for 2015.
Indonesia’s Raditya Rondi (Bali) won the Men’s Open Division over fellow Indonesian Dede Suryana (West Java) yesterday to take home a $3,000 USD paycheck, and Pua Johnson (Bali) posted her first ever ASC Women’s Division victory to earn her $1,500 USD in cash on the second and final day of the first every ASC sanctioned Grade 2 Covelong Point Classic Surf and Music Festival event in Chennai, India.
West Java’s Dede Suryana successfully defended his title on September 4th, winning the 2015 Aceh International Surfing Championship on Simeulue Island in the Aceh province of Indonesia over Bali’s Raditya Rondi (2nd), Rio Waida (Japan), and Casey Grant (South Africa) in glassy low tide 3 foot (one meter) waves.
Last weekend Indo was hit by massive and powerful swell.It starts from more than 3000 miles from Indonesia coast line and have a big amount of energy. 12-15 ft waves with +20 period for sure Padnag Padang line up will be full of Indo pros and legends that trying to get the best barrel at Padang in time of this Swell Of Decade.

The Inaugural MBR Boardriders Teams Challenge event was made up of five divisions from Groms thru to the Masters and featured Halfways, Padma, Uluwatu, Bingin, Canggu & Medewi boardriders clubs fighting it out for individual 1st places & the overall Boardriders Club Championship.
